In our network, operational security is paramount. Your anonymity and the integrity of your data are extensions of our core mission. This protocol outlines how intel is gathered, encrypted, and utilized within The Archive. We are transparent because we protect our operatives. By interfacing with our network (the “Site”), you consent to the terms of this protocol.

// DATA INTERCEPTION //

When you interface with the Site, we intercept certain information required for operations. We classify this into two categories:

1. Ghost in the Machine: Device Intel

  • Purpose of Interception: To load the Site accurately, maintain session integrity, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimize our network's performance.
  • Source of Interception: Collected automatically via secure cookies, log files, and other digital tracers when you access the Site.
  • Intel Intercepted: Version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, which sites or artifacts you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.

2. The Manifest: Mission-Critical Intel

  • Purpose of Interception: To provide artifacts or services to you to fulfill our agreed-upon mission; to process payment information; to arrange for dispatch and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations; to communicate with you; to screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.
  • Source of Interception: Collected directly from you during checkout or communication.
  • Intel Intercepted: Name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.

We do not operate alone. We share necessary intel with key service providers to help us fulfill our mission.

  • Shopify: Our primary logistical and e-commerce framework is powered by Shopify. You can read more about how they handle intel here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • We may also share your intel to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights and the integrity of the network.

You maintain sovereignty over your intel. Pursuant to regulations like GDPR and CCPA, you are entitled to the following:

  • The Right to Access: You have the right to request a full dossier of the intel we hold on you.
  • The Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any intel you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that we purge your file from The Archive, under certain conditions.
  • The Right to Object/Restrict Processing: You have the right to object to or request that we restrict the processing of your intel, under certain conditions.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, contact us via our secure channel. We have one month to respond to your request.

The Archive uses digital tracers (commonly known as "cookies") to maintain session integrity and optimize your experience. These are small fragments of information downloaded to your device that allow the network to remember your actions and preferences.
